NC Aquariums Exhibit

We just hung our newest exhibit at the North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores, which runs April 1-June 30, 2017. Please check it out, if you have a chance. 

The collection of photographs entitled PULSE focuses on how water shapes our world, as the tides are like the Earth's heartbeat.

The Aquarium is open seven days a week from 9-5.

A mile off the coast of the tiny port town of Beaufort, NC, lies Shackleford Banks; a nine-mile long barrier island. Cut off from civilization, and accessible only by boat, Shackleford is a rare gem. It is battered by storms, and the ever-flowing tides are constantly changing its shores. Wild horses, shipwrecked there in the late 1600's, are its only inhabitants.

It is my home away from home, and its splendor is ever evolving.
